When dealing with life’s hardships and disappointments, when the suffering is overwhelming or the loss is devastating, many people ask themselves timeless

Questions like these:

• Why do good people suffer?
• Why is there so much evil in the world?
• Is everything that happens per-ordained?
• Can’t God make a miracle for me?

Answers are explored in this four-part course through the eyes of the rabbinic sages as well as those of modern thinkers and presents multiple Jewish approaches in the quest for understanding.
